Crab Cake Recipe

- 1 pound Dungeness crab meat
- 1/2 pound unshelled shrimp
- 1/2 cup cream or half and half
- ground pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup finely diced green onions
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup finely crushed bread crumbs
- 1 T. Dijon mustard
- 1 t. Worchestireshire sauce
- tiny pinch Cayenne pepper (don't overdo it!)
- olive oil for frying
Crab Cake Recipe Directions
Shell the crab and shell and devein the shrimp. In a food processor add the shrimp egg, cream, mustard, Worchestershire sauce, cayenne pepper and ground black pepper. Blend. Pour the mixture into a mixing bowl. Add the crab meat, bread crumbs and green onions, and mix thoroughly with a wooden spoon. Shape the mixture into 10 cakes. Heat 3 tablespoons olive oil in a nonstick skillet and add the cakes, cooking over medium heat until golden brown - about 3 minutes on each side. Serve the crab cakes.
