No Bake Cookie Recipe

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup shortening
  • 3 cups quick oatmeal
  • 6 heaping T. cocoa
  • 1 cup coconut
  • 1 t. vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp. salt

No Bake Cookie Recipe Directions

Put sugar, milk and shortening in a pan and bring to a rolling boil. Remove from heat. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Drop by spoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet. No baking required so serve the no bake cookies.

Oatmeal Cookie Recipe

Oatmeal Cookie Recipe
  • 1/3 c Butter (margarine)
  • 1/3 c Lightly packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 c Warm water
  • 1 c Flour, divided
  • 1/4 cup aside
  • 1 c Quick rolled oats
  • 1 ts Cinnamon
  • 1/2 ts Baking soda

Oatmeal Cookie Recipe Directions

Cream butter and sugar together thoroughly, then beat in water. Set aside 1/4 cup flour for rolling. Mix together the remaining dry ingredients, then stir them into the creamed mixture. Add the remaining flour gradually to the dough until it is stiff enough to roll.Divide the dough into 3 lumps about the same size. Roll each lump of dough out about 1/8 inch thick and cut into 12 pieces or use cookie cutter. Place on a lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 F about 10 minutes or until golden brown around the edges. Remove from pan, cool serve oatmeal cookies.

  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 2/3 cup shortening or butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 1/4 cups flour
  • 2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Sugar Cookie Recipe Directions

In a large bowl mix the shortening and the sugar. Add the eggs, extract, and milk. In a medium bowl mix the dry ingredients with a wire whisk. Add the dry ingredients to the large bowl. Mix with mixer until well combined. With hands, shape dough into a ball. Wrap with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 2 to 3 hours. Cook at 400 degrees F. After cooking add cinammon and sugar or frosting and colored sugar sprinkles to the top. Let cool and serve sugar cookies.

Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe

  • 1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts
  • 1/2 cup raisins

Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe Directions


Heat oven to 375°F. Combine brown sugar, butter and sugar in large mixer bowl. Beat at medium speed, scraping bowl often, until creamy. Add egg and vanilla; continue beating until well mixed. Add flour, baking soda and salt; reduce speed to low. Beat, scraping bowl often, until well mixed. Stir in oats, chocolate chips, nuts and raisins by hand. Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheets; flatten in criss-cross pattern with fork. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool and serve chocolate chip cookies.

Monster Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe

  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 egg
  • 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 package (12-ounce size) semisweet chocolate chips (1 cup)
  • 1/2 cup (1/4 package of 12 ounce package) semisweet chocolate chips

Topping:

  • 1 cup sweetened whipped cream
  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1/4 cup flaked or shredded coconut, toasted
  • 1/2 cup candy-coated chocolate candies

Monster Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe Directions

Heat oven to 350ºF. Mix sugars, butter, vanilla and egg in large bowl. Stir in flour and baking soda (dough will be stiff). Stir in the 1 cup of chocolate chips. Spread or pat dough in ungreased 12-inch pizza pan or on cookie sheet. Sprinkle the remaining 1/2 cup of chocolate chips over dough, and with spoon push chips down about half way into cookie dough. Bake about 15 minutes or until golden brown; cool in pan. After cooking spread cookie with whipped cream. Top with walnuts, coconut and candies. Cut into wedges and let chill. Serve the monster chocolate chip cookie.

Peanut Butter Cookie Recipe

  • 1/2 cup Butter shortening
  • 1/2 cup crunchy peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp. salt

Peanut Butter Cookie Recipe Directions

Mix the shortening, peanut butter, and sugars. Beat in egg, combine flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Gradually stir flour mixture with the peanut butter mixture. Cover and refrigerate dough for at least one hour. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Make small balls of dough. Flatten with fork dipped in flour to form cross-wise pattern. Bake for 10 minutes or until just set. Cool on wire rack and serve peanut butter cookies.
